The Golden Record

"The Voyager Golden Record is a phonograph record included in the two Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977. It contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. It is intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or far future humans, that may find it."

The sounds section contains greetings in 55 different languages, natural and man made sounds, and 90 minutes of music from around the world.

The images (115 of them) start w/mathematical formulas, show the development of humans (some nudity should you be showing it to kids), the earth's terrain, other creatures, food, architecture, tools, transportation and ends with a musical score and violin which correlates w/the last sound piece, Beethoven's string quartet No. 13.

Which leads to the question(s):
What would you put on a Rooftop Golden Record?
What has gone missing in Rooftop?
What do we want to remember?
